Starfleet Command's Headquarters in the refurbished Admiralty Arch - London, Earth

Made up some of the longest-serving and highest-ranking active members of SFC the Admiralty Board are responsible for the organisation, direction and day-to-day running of the Club in general as well as encouraging and nurturing the Command Support Staff and Unit Commanding Officers to maintain the Star Trek image and the fantasy image of Starfleet Command as a believable Fleet in the image of the organisation seen in the TV Shows and Movies.

The Current Admiralty Board is made up as follows:

The Director of Operations (DOPS) oversees all aspects of the daily operation of Starfleet: his duties include the chairing and moderation of the Admiralty Board, Unit Naming and Commissioning, providing guidance and encouragement to new and probationary Units, matters of Procedure and any and all matters that have a Fleet-wide impact from the the core organisation of the whole organisation to the creation of new manuals and exams.

At some point, practically every aspect of Starfleet life has  crossed DOPS' desk and most recently he has been closely involved in the re-writing, re-fitting and redesigning of Starfleet's Infrastructure to reflect our new mainly-electronic presence.

Admiral Arlow is a 25-year veteran of Starfleet Command, with a rich experience of Unit Command, Operations and all aspects of life in SFC and in wider fandom as well..  Unusually, he has risen through the ranks more than once, relinquishing Flag rank twice after his tenure had finished rather than retire to the Ambassadorial Corps or transfer to a Flag Command.

Replacing the Office of Fleet Administration, Unit Operations bridges both the fantasy and real world operations of Starfleet - being responsible not only for those matters relating to the real people who make up our Membership but  also for maintaining the infrastructure that creates the fantasy of being in Starfleet and supervises it's smooth operation.  Everything from incoming memberships to the design of this website originate from the Director of Admin's desk.

Admiral Mitchell first showed his talents by rising from the Engineering decks to Command of the near-mythical Kronos One,  before serving as CO to two incarnations of the record-breaking USS Demeter along with flying the desks of Deputy Director of Operations, Head of Fleet Engineering and  Starbase 44 at various times in his career.

More than ever, Communication is vital to the smooth running of Starfleet - the Internet, e-mail and new media have all changed the job beyond recognition.  Beyond the club Newsletter, Comms is also responsible for ensuring SFC Units maintain contact not only with  the Admiralty, but also with each other.   The Director of Communications is also responsible for disseminating information within the organisation, ensuring that members are aware of just what's going on.  As well as providing guidance and support to Unit Communications Officers, he also shares Administration Duties at Starbase Europa, the Fleet Internet Forum.

Hailing from the USS Sovereign, where he first served as Admiral Arlow's XO before assuming the Command himself, RADM Naughton-Shires is both the newest member of the Board and Commander of SFC's Internet flagship. He is not only a talented artist and graphic designer but also a professional web designer.
